EveryPlate, owned by HelloFresh, is already a super affordable, no-frills meal kit delivery service, as we experienced in our detailed review. So, when there's a sale, it's an even more attractive option worth considering. Right now, first-time customers can save up to $62 on their first three boxes, essentially getting a month's worth of grub for a steal. With this offer, you'll pay $1.79 per meal in the first box and save another 20% on the next two boxes.

There’s a lot more where this came from. Sign up for our weekly newsletter to get all our reviews, expert advice, deals and more.

With EveryPlate, which we named among the best meal kit delivery services, you can choose from the ClassicPlate plan, FamilyPlate if you have many mouths to feed, VeggiePlate for vegetarian options or EasyPlate for meals that are especially quick and simple to put together in a rush. Select if you're feeding two or four people and if you want three, four or five meals per week. The most popular option is a box for two people with four meals per week, which works out to $5.49 per serving, but most meals will run about $4.99 per serving. A couple ordering four meals per week, for example, might pay $43.92 plus the $9.99 for shipping for a total of $53.91. With the promo, you'll save $29.60 on your first box, bringing the total to $24.32. That’s just $1.79 per meal!

What's there to eat? The menu changes on a regular basis with 17 rotating delicious meal options to choose from that range from sweet chili chicken to roasted bell pepper flatbread and smothered and stuffed meatloaves. While you won't be able to choose vegan meals or include any other specific dietary restrictions, you will be able to cook every meal in about 30 to 40 minutes, saving you plenty of time.

We tried a variety of meals from EveryPlate, including Hibachi-style steak rice bowls, apricot Dijon chicken legs and the vegetarian charred zucchini and tomato melts, each of which comes with a variety of side dishes ranging from roasted potatoes to garlic lemon couscous and mixed vegetables. We found the quality of ingredients to be top-notch, though portion sizes might be on the smaller side for some. We devoured the apricot Dijon chicken legs with roasted carrots and lemon garlic couscous (our hands-down favorite dish) and considered the lemony asparagus and tomato linguini to be restaurant-quality. Equally important as the final product is the process, and we found the instructions simple even for a cooking novice. Even after factoring in prep time to chop vegetables and mix sauces, you can easily finish cooking in under an hour, even 30 minutes for some dishes.

As one of the best value meal kit options around, EveryPlate is perfect for someone looking to dive into meal kit deliveries for the first time, especially if the most significant barrier to entry in the past has been price. "EveryPlate's affordable, no-frills approach is certainly refreshing," our reviewer concludes.
