Do you remember the McDonald’s happy meal toys you used to get as a kid? You’ll soon be able to get them again.
On Tuesday, the chain announced their collaboration with the streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market for a new meal. But this meal isn’t marketed for kids — it’s for adults.
Starting Oct. 3, the box will be available in restaurant, drive-thru, by delivery and through the McDonald’s App, while supplies last.
McDonald’s said the collaboration is “a first-of-its-kind” made for McDonald’s fans by “one of the most important brands in culture.”
The meal box will be redesigned in Cactus Plant Flea Market’s signature style. Here’s what comes inside.
“We’re taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald’s experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that’s hyper-relevant for our adult fans,” said Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA chief marketing and customer experience officer. “I can’t wait to give fans a unique piece of art and culture as we dive headfirst into the dynamic world of Cactus Plant Flea Market together next week.”
Customers who buy the McDonald’s box will automatically be entered to win merchandise every week, including custom items like t-shirts and a Grimace chair. Those who don’t buy a box but want the toys, can buy the merchandise starting October 3 at 11 a.m. ET.
