Sometimes, in grand and glorious moments, breakfast and dessert collide together. When such a culinary miracle occurs, it is the reason for a happy dance. Friends, let’s make a snack like this today. It can be dessert, of course it can also be a snack, but it can also be breakfast. On an autumn weekend morning, this is exactly the breakfast we need.

Today's Saturday snack recipe is S'mores French toast originally found in the Woody lunch box in Toy Story Land. Since the reopening of the park last year, S'mores French Toast has given way to two breakfast bowls on the quick service location menu, but we can find breakfast recipes in the new delicious Disney Walt Disney World recipes and stories from the most on earth Amazing local recipes.

Speaking of the 50th anniversary cookbook, I do not recommend that you attach great importance to this cookbook. If you are a fan of Disney World Cookbook, Walt Disney World History, or both, you will want to get a copy. I am not a big fan of Walt Disney World stock photos, these photos are scattered everywhere, but this is a very small complaint, because this book is indeed a legitimate treasure trove.

This week’s ingredient list allowed me to explore the nooks and crannies of the local grocery store again; this time focus on the bakery section. Side note: The bakery team member yelled, and he helped me find the brioche bread display stand (he admitted that it was difficult to find because it was always moving). When I asked him for a ruler, he yelled at him because he could make a ruler. I don't have a ruler on hand, and the recipe requires us to use a brioche bread with 3/4 inch slices. The slices of the pre-sliced brioche bread sold seem to be slightly larger than 3/4 inch, but I want to confirm my suspicion. His neon green ruler proved that I was correct. I purchased unsliced bread so that I can accurately control the thickness of these slices. I think next time I go to the store to buy ingredients for Saturday snacks, I should put a ruler in my wallet. I am worried that eventually they will put my photos behind the counters in every department of the grocery store, and advise team members not to help this lady who asks the most casual questions. Just like she can borrow a ruler to measure bread. And whether the eggplant in question can be classified as a medium-sized eggplant. Etc., etc……

Back to the ranch, our recipe today requires whole milk and heavy cream, which should tell you immediately that this will be great. You also need graham crackers, or as described in the recipe, 6 graham crackers have been blended in a blender to make crumbs.

This is another recipe, I suggest you make a wrong place and prepare all the ingredients before you start. Of course, I did not do such a thing. Again, this is a perfect example of learning from my mistakes. I made a mistake, so you don't have to. Ha ha.

You will want to start by lining the baking sheet with parchment paper. After baking the French toast in the pan, we need to spread the creamy chocolate on it and put them in the oven. Putting them on a large baking pan will make everything easier. You can also continue to preheat the oven to 400° at this time, but if you choose to wait for a while, don't worry. Before we put things in the oven, we have a few steps to solve.

The next step is to put two eggs, 3/4 cup of whole milk, 3/4 cup of heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into a medium bowl with a fork. Once you have everything combined perfectly, set the bowl aside.

Our next step is to open a bag of fresh dark chocolate pieces and melt them using the double pot method on the stove top. If you have not done this step before, it is fairly simple. All you need is a small saucepan and a glass bowl that can be placed on it. Fill the pan with half of the water and bring it to a boil on the stove.

Put 1 1/2 cups of dark chocolate chips in a glass bowl and stir as they melt. I make sure that the heat applied to the pan is not too out of control; I don't want my chocolate to be caught. Thankfully, I avoided the whole catch this time. This is a glorious thing. Put 1 1/2 cups of dark chocolate chips in a glass bowl and stir as they melt. I make sure that the heat applied to the pan is not too out of control; I don't want my chocolate to be caught. Thankfully, I avoided the whole catch this time. This is a glorious thing.

When the chocolate melts, add the remaining 1/2 cup of heavy cream to the melted chocolate and stir everything until smooth. This step may require a little elbow grease and patience; stick to it, and your persistence will be rewarded. The end result will be a lovely creamy chocolate sauce. When things look beautiful and smooth, set the bowl aside.

As we focus on the creamy chocolate sauce, I want to pay tribute to the chefs who created this dish. Many of the desserts from Woody’s lunch box that we have seen contain hazelnut paste. As a person who is allergic to hazelnuts, and after eating Woody's hazelnut lunch box for one night, I really understand the degree of the allergy (sigh). It is great to have a dessert that is not centered on hazelnuts. And, spoiler alert, you will have a lot of leftover creamy chocolate to use at will. Want to soak your S'mores French toast in the remaining sauce? Go ahead. Was there a big Gideon cookie in the fridge during my last trip to Disney Springs? With chocolate sauce, it's amazing. Almost anything can be dunked or covered in this spread.

Next you need to take another medium-sized plate and pour 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs. You will make a French toast assembly station on your kitchen counter, and those cookie crumbs are the last thing your brioche will cover before being served on the pan.

Now it's time to cut the brioche bread slices to the recommended 3/4 inch thickness. I grabbed my ruler and my sharpest knife, and started cutting each one according to the recipe.

When everything is said and done, I think the sandwich in the picture in the recipe is actually made with 1/2 inch thick bread. So really, you and I don’t need to worry about the thickness of the bread. Want it to be thicker and the end result softer? Use thicker slices of bread. Want a crisper side? Use thinner slices of bread. You are the owner of that French toast.

I put a bowl of eggs, milk, cream, and vanilla at the furthest point from the frying pan, and a bowl of graham cracker crumbs at the closest place. One at a time, I dunk each slice of brioche in the egg mixture, and then carefully coated both sides with graham cracker crumbs.

If you have spots that cannot be covered with crumbs, you may need to sprinkle some crumbs on the slices. I want every bit to be covered by those delicious crumbs, so I sprinkled the crumbs where needed.

We were asked to heat the pan that we will use for French toast at medium high temperature. I applied a nice layer of cooking spray to the pan and then adjusted the things to temperature. I place two slices of brioche bread in the center of the frying pan at a time and let them cook until I see dark brown areas on the surface of the toast. I don't want to overdo things, so as soon as they have small dark brown spots, I pull them out of the pan and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Now is the glorious time for you and me to use the chocolate cream mixture. The recipe requires us to put 1 tablespoon of chocolate (all the way to the edge, friends...well) and 2 tablespoons of mini marshmallows on each slice, which is equivalent to 12 marshmallows. Once everything is covered with chocolate and marshmallows, I put the pan in the oven for about 3 to 4 minutes. When the marshmallows start to expand, we need to take the pan out of the oven.

Once the marshmallows are nice and fluffy, take the pan out of the oven and use two pieces to make a sandwich. You can do it here: wait and let the marshmallows cool down a little bit, they will keep their shape a bit more, or pat the hot slices together, and then use a fork and knife to gobble it up and melt it all. You are the chef in this kitchen, you You can call the shots.

Since I was born a little impatient, I ate the first two slices together immediately. It's so melted, slimy, and so good.

However, the second sandwich is more aesthetically pleasing because I waited a while to let the marshmallows and chocolate cool down a bit. I can actually pick up the second sandwich and eat it as a sandwich, and the first sandwich definitely needs a knife and fork.

Dear friends, this is the perfect treat for the weekend. It combines all your favorite s'mores flavors and is a delicacy adjacent to breakfast. As you might expect, it is very sweet. But those graham cracker crumbs can help reduce emotions, just like you do more on a campfire.

For people who like s'mores, this is a delightful treat. If you have children in your family, they will like to put it together. Of course, if you have children in your home and you give them this for breakfast, you may also need them to go around the house a few times in the late morning to burn off the high sugar content. Just a warning.

Fall and Walt Disney World and s'mores. breakfast. There is nothing better than this.
