SETX Lunch Box is the latest round of local restaurants to enter the Parkdale Mall food court. It opened at the end of October and now offers delivery services.
The permanent location was opened by April Swain on October 22, offering lunch staples such as hamburger baskets, chicken tenders and Frito pies and loaded nachos and other specialties.
SETX Lunch Box is the fourth local small business that has transitioned from a local food truck or catering company to a physical store in Park Dale Mall since the end of summer.
It now includes new content such as Sullivan's BBQ, Wing Junkies and Sizzlin' Subs.
SETX Lunch Box also recently announced a delivery partnership with Waitr.
In the near future, a new video game and media exchange brand is coming to Beaumont.
The City of Beaumont awarded Mindy Kent a certificate of occupancy for the new franchise location of the Game X Change brand registered by Mindy Kent.
The new store will be located at No. 4105, Daolun Road, the red retail center at the corner of Daolun Road and Old Daolun Road, adjacent to Wal-Mart.
Game X Change is a growing media retail chain, headquartered in Arkansas.
According to the company's profile, the company was founded in 1992, when company leaders used their experience in working with Wal-Mart suppliers to create competitive video game stores in different markets. It now operates more than 20 company stores and more than 30 franchise stores.
According to the company's website, there is currently a Game X Change store opposite FM 365 in the Port Arthur Central Shopping Center.
Beaumont's Spec's Wine, Spirits and Finer Foods customers will now have a new option to purchase their favorite beverages.
Spec's has announced a partnership with DoorDash to deliver products from 175 Spec's Wine, Spirits and Finer Foods locations through the DoorDash marketplace.
From November 2 to November 17, these companies will also use promo code 204TX at checkout to provide a 20% discount on Spec orders of $25 or more, with a discount of up to $15.
Before checkout, in addition to meeting with Dasher face-to-face as part of DoorDash's delivery requirements, customers are also required to upload their ID for legal age verification.
