There are hundreds of dining options throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including quick-service locations, which each feature their own unique menus and themes with the convenience of enjoying a fast meal. While there are plenty of popular quick-service locations that Guests love to enjoy, such as Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, Flame Tree Barbecue, Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, Woody’s Lunch Box, Morimoto Street Food, Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, and Contempo Café, there are many other locations that often go overlooked and can be considered underrated. Let’s check out some of the most underrated quick-service locations in the Walt Disney World Resort and see what makes them all worth enjoying!

The Magic Kingdom has many different quick-service restaurants, but one that can be considered underrated is Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square. Located across the way from the Haunted Mansion and around the corner from Liberty Tree Tavern, Columbia Harbour House is often overlooked in favor of other nearby popular locations like Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, but is worth a visit thanks to its delicious menu of seafood favorites. Guests who dine at the location for lunch and dinner can enjoy a nautical setting with a “secret” upstairs dining area and dig into menu items including Grilled Salmon, Lobster Roll, Grilled Shrimp Skewer, and Sea Captain Catch.

Another underrated quick service location in the Magic Kingdom is The Friar’s Nook, which is located in Fantasyland directly across from the entrance to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. This convenient location features several ordering counters and outdoor seating with stunning views of Fantasyland and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests who visit The Friar’s Nook can enjoy some delicious menu items including a Breakfast Sandwich, Creamy Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Tots, and The Wild Toad Brat Burger.

The final underrated quick-service location in the Magic Kingdom is one that tends to only operate seasonally when crowd levels are very high. Tortuga Tavern is a relatively small location located in Adventureland across from the entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean that features a limited menu of flavorful options for lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy subtle pirate-theming at Tortuga Tavern while eating menu items such as Veranda Teriyaki Burger, Barbecued Slaw Dog, and Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, and Banana Sandwich.

EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to a very high concentration of dining options, but with so many amazing places to eat, some end up being overlooked and underrated. Lotus Blossom Café in the China Pavilion is a quick-service restaurant with a covered outdoor patio where Guests can enjoy authentic Chinese food while taking in stunning views of the gardens and Temple of Heaven. Open each day for lunch and dinner, the menu at Lotus Blossom Café features items like Pork Egg Rolls, Orange Chicken Combo, Chicken Fried Rice Combo, Mongolian Beef Combo, and Lychee Ice Cream.

The Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina, which features a small indoor ordering space and several tables outside with beautiful views of the pavilion and World Showcase Lagoon just across from Spice Road Table. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and serves up a very limited selection of traditional Moroccan cuisine including Grilled Kebabs with Couscous, Tomato-Onion Salad, and Garlic Aioli, and Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with Hummus, Zaalouk, and Zhoug Dips.

Quick-service locations including ABC Commissary, Studio Backlot, and Ronto Roasters are all very popular in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but Guests can also check out a great, but underrated, location on Sunset Boulevard. Fairfax Fare is a small outdoor ordering location that features a large back patio with tons of seating that Guests can relax on while soaking in the ambiance of Sunset Boulevard and hearing screams from The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror nearby. Fairfax Fare focuses on hot dogs and Guests can choose from flavorful options including the Pretzel Dog, Truffle Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog, California BLTA Dog, and plant-based Chicago-style “Hot Dog” Salad making it a great option in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is an extremely popular quick service location that serves up mouthwatering barbecue options, but there is also another delicious quick service location nearby on Discovery Island that often goes overlooked. Eight Spoon Café is a small standalone location that is open throughout each day in the Disney Park and serves up some indulgent and over-the-top creations that Guests will love. Some menu options at Eight Spoon Café include the Pulled Pork – Jelly Doughnut Sandwich, Baked Macaroni & Cheese, and Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork.

There are dozens of amazing dining options to be enjoyed throughout Disney Springs, but one location that can definitely be considered underrated is often overlooked in favor of its adjacent neighbor, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. Cookes of Dublin is a quick-service location that serves up authentic Irish pub favorites in a charming and bright interior with classic red leather booths, bright white tiles, and rich pops of green. Guests can opt to dine inside at Cookes of Dublin or outside at comfortable patio seating and some menu options include Famous Fish and Chips, Dubliner Burger, Hog in a Box, and Cookes Classic Battered Burger.

Earl of Sandwich has been a quick-service location in Disney Springs for many years and can be found in The Marketplace near Once Upon a Toy and Disney’s Pin Traders. The location focuses on fresh and flavorful sandwiches, soups, and salads but is definitely underrated compared with other dining options nearby. Guests who do enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Earl of Sandwich can dig into delicious options including the Breakfast BLT, Ham Breakfast Burrito, Caprese, Cannonballs!, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Spicy Tuna Wrap, and Earl’s Cobb Salad.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter is a beautiful Moderate Resort in the Disney Springs area of the Walt Disney World Resort that celebrates the lively spirit and charm of New Orleans. The Disney Resort’s main dining option is Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, which is open for each meal period and welcomes Guests into a large warehouse where Mardi Gras floats are created. The menu focuses on a mix of American and Southern favorites and Guests can order items such as the Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich, Jambalaya, Signature Pimento Bacon Cheeseburger, Prime Rib Dip, and Barbecued Pulled Pork Sandwich.

The final underrated quick service dining location at the Walt Disney World Resort can be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a Deluxe Resort that brings the culture and beauty of Africa to life through immersive theming and delicious dining. The Mara is the main quick-service location at the Disney Resort and Guests can enjoy a fusion of American and African flavors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with items including Bacon and Gruyère Quiche, French Toast Bread Pudding, Tamarind Barbecue Pork Sandwich, Marrakesh Falafel Platter, Braai Chicken Flatbread, and Zebra Domes.
